Fall?

FALL. Oh how I hope it lasts. We had a great fall day here in Hot, Texas. Finally a dip in the temperature. The kids and I were outside a lot. We even had school outside today.


The cooler temperature reminds me of specific fun times. It first makes me think of high school football games. I think about wearing sweaters with turtlenecks and huddling up in the stands with all my friends drinking hot chocolate.

Another memory of these fall temps is the leaves. Fall always leads to leaves falling on the ground and eventually those leaves have to get raked up. I loved to rake the leaves and jump right in. It was such great fun and I can remember doing this on a couple different occasions. Our littlest was playing in the leaves today after I raked up a pile and I almost wanted to tell him to stop, that he would get dirty or bit by a spider. But I didn't and he really did enjoy it.

I hope that every year we can find time to jump in the fall leaves!!
