What, it is getting to be that time of the year AGAIN!!! YIKES!
I have to get started on the Christmas shopping. I always say that I will get a head start on it but then the weeks creep by and all of a sudden 'IT'S HERE'.
And those Christmas cards. I love to send them out and I love to get them in the mail. But we usually send out about 80-90 cards and that takes quite a bit of time. We do the silly letter telling everyone what our year was like and attach a picture of some kind so that everyone can see what we all look like now. My husband is much better at the letter (but hates to do it) and helps me make it fun. We will see what we can come up with this year.
We also make a lot of our gifts in our family. I love it and think that it takes a lot of thoughtfulness. I hope that it is something that my kids will continue to do as they get older as well. I hope that they really think about what they want to give to someone and make it special. I hope that they think about what the gift giving symbolizes and continually feel Jesus in the Christmas season.
