Back on Nov 14th I posted that I was so ahead of schedule and I was going to have everything done early to really enjoy the Christmas season this year. Well, that didn't exactly happen. Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas and I am really enjoying it. But I didn't get things done early. In fact I have just finished up all my Christmas shopping but don't yet have even half of the gifts wrapped. I also have this BIG Family Make-A-Gift exchange gift looming over my head still. What to make, What to do????? And our Christmas cards have yet to be mailed to us so that we can address them and send them out. (I know - they will all be late)
My husband was a little stressed earlier in the week because he hadn't hung up the Christmas lights yet. I told him on Tuesday that we shouldn't worry about that this year because it was already so late and we would be spending Christmas in the Rockies this year. He was so relieved and smiled right at me. Just to think, this means that every year he is putting up ALL those Christmas lights for me. WOW, he must really really love me. I think it is sweet. I truly love the holiday season and he knows this and I guess that is why he was stressed. I am glad to be able to help him feel better about it this year. BUT ONLY THIS YEAR! B/C next year, baby, we are going to be all decked out again!!!!
