We were gone for almost a whole week for our Christmas vacation to Reno. We all had so much fun and the trip went by too quickly. We saw lots of family, played in the snow, sang fun Christmas songs, ate lots of great food, played and laughed with my nieces and nephew. Our kiddos are a little sad to be back home and away from all the family (although our oldest immediately said that his hair felt better again with more humidity in the air again - he complained of that numerous times in the dessert climate - 'my hair feels funny').
It is tough living so far from everyone. We do have something to look forward to with them though. We are meeting up with my sister-in-law and her family at Disneyland this Feb. Can't wait. We will all have a great time for sure.
But for now it is back to the grind of trying to get these kids adjusted to Central Time Zone, laundry done, boxes unpacked from our new Christmas treasures. Then next week we'll have to take all the Christmas decorations down again. It truly has been a blessed Christmas for us.
