Another great woman in my life went to be with the Lord yesterday. My husband's grandmother passed away after almost 96 years here on earth. Wow, what an accomplishment. She didn't have any disease oo major ailments. She just got old. I hope that is what happens to me. I hope that I can enjoy my life, every bit of it, until a ripe old age. I pray that I am able to get around to see family and even walk on my own as she did until her last 2 weeks of life.

This woman was a huge influence in my husband's life. She showed him true, unconditional love like no other. She never had to discipline him. She had that great position in life to just love him up and then send him home. She would read him stories as a child for hours. He would bring her the biggest stack he could carry in his arms and she would agree to read and read. She also was known to vote with him (at a young age) in the famous family votes when no one else would. She came to visit with cans full of cookies for everyone. She always wore a smile and always looked her best.
