Tonight was my first time ever at an auction. It was great fun. I told myself I wouldn't get carried away. I had challenges to face as my two young boys did attend with me. It was quite intimidating to bid. Very fast paced.
I left with two great treasures. 
The piece above is now sitting at my bedside. I love it and the marble top as I don't have to worry about water marks from my water glasses at bedtime. I am very happy with it but my sweet hubby needs a little more time for this one to grow on him.
The piece above is an old tea cart. It also came with a wood framed glass tray that sets right on top. This piece is in the corner of my living room.
I can't wait to get to my next auction. Now I know what to expect and will get there in time to really look things over and take lots of notes on what I want ahead of time.
