Birthday Fun

Another year older but that is not what I am telling my kiddos. I am staying 30 forever!!!!! 30 is an age that didn't seem so old when I was a little girl. But XX, wow that is a lot older to a kid. So I chose to stay young and silly and full of energy. Our oldest son wanted to put 30 candles on my cake and my hubby asked why 30 and our son explained that mom was turning 30 today!!!! It was great.

So OK, I'm not 30 this year. I'm 34 but still feeling young and ready to conquer the world. I wonder what age this feeling vanishes?

Had a great day. Went out to dinner at Cheesecake Factory and ordered the grilled fresh artichoke for an appetizer. It was dreamy. I think I could eat that every week for the rest of my life. Came home and had a great party with presents and chocolate oreo cake. I even got my favorite flowers, hydrangeas. Also got our Christmas tree. This is a birthday tradition for me!!!
