Last night a few of my gal pals came over and taught me how to make tamales. It was great fun. We worked at them for 3 hours. We all got to keep 2 dozen to take home. It is a lot of work to make those things. We made pork and beef (neither of which I eat). Needless to say I have a happy hubby who has been enjoying them (fresh last night and warmed up again for breakfast).
Thanks gals for coming over, all the help cooking, and cleaning it all up. We'll have to do it again sometime.
