'I' is for Ice Cream

Had a great field trip out to Brenham, Tx. We met up with another close homeschool family. We arrived just in time to get the last group of tour tickets for later in the day. It was a close call but the Lord provided for us.

Walked around Brenham and looked at the old firetruck museum, visited the tourist office, and had a great lunch at Must Be Heaven. It was an old diner with antiques scattered about. Great food and the kids meals came in old cardboard convertibles.

It was time to head back and hit the tour. We all had a great time, learned a few things, and ate great ice cream. I tried a new flavor for me. It was alright but I am still partial to Mint Choc Chip and Cookies and Cream.

Overall a great way to impress upon a preschooler that 'I' is for Ice Cream. Maybe he'll remember this school lesson a little easier. It is going to be tough to top this for 'J' now. I'll see what I can come up with though.
