Baby Blessing

Last night was an amazing night spent with beautiful friends. We are so blessed that the Lord has placed all these great people in our lives so close by.

We met at our church, dropped our sweet kiddos off, and headed

to a private room to prayer with some of our close friends. It was wonderful.

Our friends took turns praying for different parts of the baby's life. It all started with labor and delivery, then the first year, then preschool years, then elementary years, high school years, off to college, and marriage. It was so amazing breaking it all down this way and very hard to imagine our little baby doing all these things when we haven't even met them yet.

I held my husband's hand while we prayed and kept my other hand on my belly. Our baby was awake and alert most of the time everyone prayed. (Crazy 'Guess What' -We'll have to teach our little baby to sit still and be quiet during prayer later).

The night was perfect and a great way to concentrate 100 % of our energy on this little baby coming into the world so soon. This blessed baby has already had a great start and is already so loved!!!!!
