Baptismal Dress

It had to be done fast. I have a baptism dress that has been in the family for 4 generations already. It is hand made and gorgeous.

I wore it, all the cousins have worn it, my mom wore it, her mom wore it. It is very old, very delicate, and very Norwegian.

This is our first child that has worn it. It only fits tiny babies and I never had my act together enough to find out who had it in their possession with my previous pregnancies and babies.

I am so happy that we were able to take these precious pictures and that the dress fit. We took them at our church's chapel in the woods.

We have made the decision a while back to raise our children in the church and to ensure they know Jesus right away. But we want them to make the decision for themselves to be baptized.

So we pray that all 3 of our kiddos will continue to grow closer to Christ. And we pray that they all make a decision to accept the Lord into their hearts. And that they decide to take the step to get baptized one day!
