Today was Sunday. A big church day in our family. I look forward to church all week long. My kids both love it there too.
Our eldest son loves so many things about church but every once in a while he has a hard time when we drop him off.
We came to the graduation time or promotion weekend with the children's ministry and the kids switch rooms to advance to the older classes. Our son did not like his new room. I asked him why and he said that 'it had windows'. Obviously the windows were a great thing to you and me but I think he just didn't want the change. It is always easier to just keep things the way they are. He cried and screamed and I left him there anyway. When I picked him up he was great and I never heard about it again from him.
This past Sunday we walked over to his classroom and he jumped right in and flew right into the teacher's arms and gave her a Great Big Hug and told her he had missed her. It was fantastic and totally took me aback.
I am so pleased that he enjoys his new teachers and his new room now. Even despite the 'windows'.
