Anyone who knows our oldest son knows how much he loves animals and learning about them. One of his teachers at church discovered his love of animals a while back and she asks him questions about the animals. They pretend to be different animals each week. He loves it. She knows how to relate to him and he beams when he talks with her.
He says often that he wants to be a conservationist. He is going to save the animals and their homes. He is just pure sweet. I don't know how anyone wouldn't instantly just take to him and adore him.
Today while shopping I told him he could pick out something to buy and take home. He first picked out a plastic panda toy but in the end decided that he would rather the book on lions. He loves to learn and share all the little details that he discovers. Our avid book reader. I hope that this passion of books lasts his lifetime!
