The boys and I made chocolate ice cream today. It was great but I suppose I should confess that it turned into chocolate blueberry ice cream. Our little guy decided to drag a chair over to the mixing bowl and dump a cup full of blueberries in. I soon discovered this and got most of them out however a few were already being mixed and smashed right in.
Once assembled they didn't understand how the machine worked and that it would take 40 minutes to make it. They kept looking at the ice and salt and asking when it would turn into chocolate.
We finally did enjoy our delicious ice cream cones. The flavor was great and it was said that the blueberries must have been the perfect ingredient to add to make it taste soooo good.
