It is camping week in school this week. We had a great camping experience last weekend. Just spent one night at the state park.

We are a tenting family thus far, but I hope this will soon change. We were able to bike, fish, run, play at the park, and eat great grilled food (thanks to the one good cook in our family - NOT ME!).
The best part was the second day a neighboring camper came over to tell us that their was an alligator close by their campsite in the water. 
We dropped everything we were doing, grabbed the camera and made a dash for it to see him. It was awesome. A great view of the action. He even made some great sounds for us. I had no idea that alligators made noises. A great educational experience.
