It's the most WONDERFUL TIME of the YEAR!!!!!
It's time to remember why the season even exists and keep Christ at the heart of it ALL!
It's time to take the cinnamon sticks out again to add to cider and make my house smell so good.
It's time to bring home a fresh tree to decorate with our kiddos.
It's time to open up all the stored Christmas boxes in the attic and bring out my crazy Santa collection.
It's time to get some shopping done to remember my loved ones so far away.
It's time to wear my Christmas jammies and go look at the neighborhood lights.
It's time to open the mailbox in high hopes that I'll get a card each and every day now until Christmas arrives.
It's time to hang the lights around the roof and in the trees (although we will probably pass this year as we hope to move soon).
It's time to practice our carols, even if off key.
I pray that as I do all these things and more, that I keep Christ at the forefront of my mind. What a celebration this is. What an amazing thing to be excited about. It's going to be a great party for Jesus this year at our house!
