Good Reminder

'God wants us to be giving to others'. That is what our 5 year old has told us over and over this past week. He suggested yesterday that we make some cookies and take them to 'old' people to make them happy. Well I finally got the missing ingredients and we are going to bake them up this afternoon. Both boys are excited.

My thoughtful hubby found a local Alzheimer's home for us to go to deliver our goodies. I was thinking of a retirement home but he mentioned this might be a better fit for our family. This past year my grandmother passed away and she had Alzheimer's and was living in a wonderful care center in Colorado.

I am going to print some scripture up to attach to the bags.

Interesting how our little ones bring us back to what is important. Giving. It is so simple and doesn't take to long. These angels that God gave us our a perfect fit in our family. I can't wait to see how it all goes.

Thank you Lord for blessing us with two wonderful boys. Thank you for giving them giving and gracious spirits. Help me to remember to be more giving everyday. In your heavenly name. Amen.
