I am a 'lovey' mom. I am always hugging on my kiddos and telling them I love them. So Valentine's Day is great fun here. It is a challenge to step it up a little and make them feel even more loved on this special day (even with daddy out of town this year). I know they look forward to it and what surprises they might see.
We always blow up many little red, pink, white and purple balloons. We make heart masks and special home made Valentine's. We try to put a Valentine's spin on every meal by making things red and pink or cutting things into heart shapes.
Our oldest suggested Valentine PJ's for next year. This will be more difficult for boys (something not pink) but I think I am up to this challenge.
