Homeschool Movie Day

We pulled it off.  We saw Dolphin Tale on the opening day.  It was a wonderful movie.

We got there early.  I bought tickets for myself and 2 children.  We got our snacks, used the bathroom, and then took our seats.  But wait, there were no seats together.  It was sold out.  How wonderful for the movie.  But sad for us.  There were 3 seats together in the front row on the bottom level but I refused to go through an entire movie that way.  So instead we all sat separate.   The boys didn't mind one bit, as long as they had their snacks.  They were only separated by an aisle so they could keep an eye on each other but not bug each other or make extra noise.

I took a seat a few rows forward with the baby.  She did great and didn't make to much noise.   This was her first movie experience.

I was so proud of everyone.  My kids were just great.

The movie was very good and incredibly moving.   I left the theatre with a happy heartfelt feeling.  I hope that Hollywood continues to make movies that appeal to audiences that want to see good values displayed.

This was a national homeschool event.  Homeschoolers everywhere went to see this movie today.  Sitting in that theatre today made me proud to homeschool.  It made me happy that a movie was made to capture our hearts and relate to learning in a world view, daily life living way.
