Growth Spurt

I think that our kiddos are growing right before our eyes. I am not kidding.

Our kids are shorties. They will be small their whole lives most likely. That is fine. But our eldest came out of bed yesterday saying that he thought he was 'walking on stilts'. We just smiled at him and looked and wow, he did look like he had actually grown 1/2 inch. It is incredible.

Both the boys are great sleepers right now. They are taking great naps and sleeping in every morning. We are loving it and appreciate the extra time to sleep in the mornings. I have yet to figure out how those moms set their alarms to wake up before their kids and get showered and housework done before the morning risers. I don't think that I will ever be that mom. I do wake up happy and am definitely a morning person but I also DO LOVE my sleep. To each his own I suppose.

So we sit and watch the kids grow. Watch them physically get bigger. It is strange to think that each one of them will be bigger than me someday. That is such a neat miracle.

Psalm 1:3 They are like trees planted by streams of water, which yield their fruit in its season, and their leaves do not wither. In all that they do, they prosper.

Lord, it is great to see these children prosper. We are so blessed. Thank you for giving us these precious gifts to watch over and care for here on earth. Help us to nurture them to become God fearing men. Amen.
