OUCH

A big accident in our house today. I witnessed it all and feel awful.



The boys were playing chimpanzees, running around, jumping, being silly, and swinging their Curious George's. They both climbed into the baby crib. They were bouncing and laughing. The oldest climbed out and the little one tried to get out but he is just still to short to do it alone. So the older one said he would help. The little one leaned forward into the oldests arm's and thought his brother had him. They both tumbled straight down to the floor, one backwards, one forwards and hit the metal bed frame to stop. OUCH.



The oldest had a big bump on the top of his head and the youngest had blood everywhere on the front on his face. It was coming out both sides of his nose and inside his mouth. Needless to say they were both crying. I ran out to get my husband for help but he was literally covered in paint in the garage doing a project. I grabbed the ice packs and a couple wet washcloths and just cuddled both of them up. The oldest stopped crying once he saw all the blood from the little one and he knew that their was someone else to worry about, and pray for right now.



Looking at them both now (a few hours later) I can tell that our big boy is perfectly fine. The baby isn't quite right though. I am questioning if he has a broken nose. We are going to reevaluate in the morning. I hope that we don't have to head into the hospital for help. I am praying for the Diving Healer to lay his hands on our son tonight.
