Coming home this evening from a long awaited Girls Night Out, I heard a great country song on the radio that I almost forgot about. I Have Been Blessed by Martina McBride. I think this is my life mantra right now. I really do feel so incredibly blessed.
My blessings are so numerous it amazes me:
A Lord who loves me through it all
Hard working (& hot) husband
Beautiful boys
Great home
Perfect job
A church that meets all our needs
Friends I can count on
Good health in my family
Low stress ...
We are not rich by any means but we do have what we need. Our kids always have plenty of food and clothes to wear. We watch how we spend our money and try to live a modest life
There are millions of people out there in the world and our country that are struggling RIGHT NOW. People worried about so many different things. I have none of these worries. I know that my time will come. I know that my struggles will help me grow. I only hope that through whatever comes my way, I always have this same feeling of being blessed. I have been given so much. This all is more than I deserve.
