Back to Nature

We are headed up into the mountains of Colorado for an outdoor adventure. We will be back packing in to a remote cabin. Phil and I will hike in along with at least one other, three will be biking in, and the remainder(13) are undecided or riding in jeeps with most of the gear. My dad agreed to ride up with the boys and their injured Auntie.

We are staying where there is no running water, no electricity, and hopefully no cell phone coverage. It will be great to have so much family time. We bring in our own food and also fish for what we can. Water has to be purified with tablets so that we can drink it safely. We will have one battery operated radio to call in for help if we need it.

Sounds like a crazy adventure of Survivor a little bit. I'll let everyone know how it all goes. Pray that we don't meet any bears.
