Our oldest has picked up a silly saying he heard from his father. 'It tastes like chicken.' This is his immediate response if we ask him what anything tastes like.
Trying mango salsa, 'tastes like chicken'. Everything - 'tastes like chicken'.
Then he laughs and laughs.
He also loves to 'cook' for us. His new thing now is this recipe that he made up. It is bread cut into shapes with lettuce and pizza sauce on it. He makes it for us all EVERY meal. He is getting quite fast at it compared to the first time. We get it breakfast, lunch, and dinner everyday to add to our meal. It is his special recipe and he is so proud of it. His little brother will even take a few bites each time. It doesn't taste that bad either. I guess "it tastes like chicken"!
