The Wiener

Our kiddos were engaged in a game of indoor football through our house. They took turns catching dad's pass and running for a touchdown. Some plays were tackled, others scored.

Everyone was playing and having so much fun. Our oldest told the youngest that he was a 'Champion' after he scored his touchdown. But the little guy didn't like this comment. He was hurt by it and said 'don't say that'. Our oldest tried again because he thought that the little guy must not have heard him right. But once again the youngest replied "Don't say that. Don't call me 'champion'." He then went on to say, 'Call me wiener'.

So that is how it went for the night. We all called him 'wiener'. Obviously the poor guy meant winner but we couldn't help ourselves and he was so proud of himself. We certainly didn't want to disappoint his victory dance.
