Nerves

I have a history of teeth problems. I feel like I take good care of my teeth. I brush at least twice daily and floss at least 5 times a week. I know it isn't perfect but the amount of problems that I have faced seem a little excessive.

I go in tomorrow to fix a crown that came off 2 months ago and was fixed twice already. Hopefully it will last five or more years this time. I don't know what the life expectancy of a crown is even.

So my visit tomorrow has me a little nervous. The last visit I had to have so many shots in my cheek and gums that I was sore for three days. So that is the part I am not looking forward to. It is the pain that lingers afterwards. I don't even mind the shots so much because the pain is short. Another aspect that makes it tough is that we take our kiddos in to see the dentist this week for bi-annual cleanings and check-ups and I don't want them to get nervous before their visits. So I'll just have to put on my 'happy face' after I come home and fake it for a few days.

  1. It was a great dentist visit - Only 40 minutes and not much pain at all. God is so good to give me peace about it all.
