A Passion Week

We are now in the midst of Passion Week. It is an amazing time of year. Our kiddos are into it as well. In fact our 3 year old started to cry at the doctor's office this afternoon because he had left his Jesus picture in the car. He wanted to hold Jesus tight just in case the doctor visit was tougher than expected (but just the easy 3 year well kiddo check). His sweet PawPaw went all the way back out to get it.

We are going to help the church stuff the Easter Bulletins this week. Our oldest and I are going to attend and do as many as we can in 1 1/2 hours. Should be a fun time and good to teach him community service and serving our Lord in the church.

Also this week my husband and I will watch The Passion of Christ. I honestly have never seen the whole thing through. I wanted to break it up and watch a 1/2 hour each night but my insightful husband made me understand that if I want the full effect I should sit through it all at once!

A new purchase, and soon to be family tradition, is a set we bought called Resurrection Eggs. It is a plastic egg carton with 12 plastic eggs and each one contains a tiny toy surprise to remind us of the Easter story.

So I pray that each day we will sit and remember what this time is about and how amazingly wonderful we have it because of one incredible man - JESUS!!!!!
