Another auction and this time I brought my husbands truck with me instead of my sedan.
My mom flew into town from Denver to spend the weekend and accompany me to the auction this week. We had a great time. I was still amazed at how much they had to move through that place and how fast they were able to do it. It was an incredible system to see at work. Men lifting large pieces of furniture into the air so the whole room could see. The auctioneer calling out bids faster than even I can speak. It is hard to keep up with most of the time, but I did manage to get my paddle up and successfully obtained a truckload of furniture and decorative items.
Best buy of the night for me was a
Queen Anne table with 4 chairs in great shape. It has an intricate system within that allows you to extend the table even longer.
