It was a great Easter here at our house. Low stress and lots of fun all day long.
Started off with Easter baskets in the morning. Biggest hit this year was the little toys
from the movie Rio. We looked through our Resurrection cards and talked about the suffering that Jesus went through all because of God's big plan to love us and want us to get to heaven with him. It was a great learning time for our younger one as the older one had all the answers already for us.
Next came the Easter Egg hunt with our good friends (our neighbors).
There were eggs hidden in both yards with candy, stickers, and toys. All 5 boys had a great time finding all the secret bunny hiding spots. There was one golden egg hidden and our youngest was the one to find it (with a few helpful hints from the on-lookers).
Church service was our next stop. We had a great time and heard a fun and entertaining message. The boys each enjoyed their classes and art projects as well.
The rest of the day was a pool party and later a grilled dinner and crawfish fest. Everyone had lots to eat.
A fantastic day and great memories.
