Countdown

We have only 5 days left with our dearest friends here in Texas before they move to Michigan.   We have been visiting and playing together every day that we can. Yesterday was outdoor splashpad, a park, lunch with playtime and then our favorite yogurt shop in the afternoon.  5 hours - CHECK

Today we saw them at church and soon everyone is coming over for a pool party.  Should be a great evening.

Having close friends move away is so tough.  It is just a little bit more bearable knowing that we only have a few months left here in Texas before we move as well.

Our oldest is best friends with their oldest twins (boys).  Our middle children are great friends (boys).  Our babies love to play together (girls).  God has knit this perfect family for us to be close to.  We have so much in common and value many of that same things.  A huge help for me has been that they too are a homeschool family and full of encouragement.

We have promised to keep in touch and visit each other a couple times each year.  They are amazing people and I know that this is a friendship that will last the distance.
