'Hi, I'm Chubby'

Tonight while the kiddos were 'skyping' on the computer with my parents, they made me smile and I wanted to blog & share it w/ everyone.


The background is this: my mother learned these silly sayings and rhymes from a friend of hers (Debbie I think) that go along with certain facial expressions. I memorized them as a child and brought them back out of my memory bank for my kids. My favorite was called 'I'm Chubby'. My kiddos just love it and they laugh and laugh when they do it.


It goes like this:


Hi, I'm Chubby. My mommy's Chubby. My daddy's Chubby. Even my doggy's Chubby. One day I went for a ride with my friend on his motorcycle. He was going faster and faster and faster. I told him 'slow down, slow down that is fast enough', so he stopped. And now I's Chubby again!






While doing this they squeeze their cheeks until the 'faster' part and then they pull their face back real tight. Anyways, it is hard to write it out. I'll just post a video of them live!
