I Love You

'I Love You' is something that I have never said in a prayer until recently. I am currently in a bible study called Victoriously Frazzled, The Frazzled Female's Guide to Restoring Her Sanity. The sections are broken down into 5 days per section. At the end of each day Cindi Wood leads off a closing prayer and always end it with 'I love You'. She talks about A Secret Place. A place to share with God.

I love my husband and I tell him every day. I love my kids and I tell them every day. I love my parents and sisters and I end every telephone conversation with 'I love you'. But I NEVER tell Jesus this. I have begun to say this in my prayer time and it feels great. I can't believe that I haven't done it before. My love for the Lord is so great and strong but I hadn't said it. This love is the most important, the strongest, and still I hadn't said it.

It is never to late. It is fun to see my spiritual walk strengthening and maturing. I pray that it continues to do so and that I find other new ways to grow close to the Lord.

Lord thank you for walking with me each and every day. I love you. Amen
